This mule lives with a group of farm mules and horses west of Victor, Montana USA in a very large, grassy pasture. They all have such personality. I love visiting them whenever I pass by on this country road.

About my cameras

You will see photos using various cameras. The three I am using most are:

Cannon EOS 7D: The 40D was my entry into EOS digital. I have moved to the 7D now and love it. I am really liking the ability to manually adjust my photos and use the RAW image feature. It is heavier, bigger, less rugged and more expensive. I use it when ever I can, but sometimes opt to leave it in the car.

My current lenses: a standard EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM for Macro and medium length shots - added a SIGMA 24-70mm f/2.8 EX DG Aspherical DF Macro SLD Autofocus Lens; using a Canon 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 DO IS for wildlife and birds. My newest lens is a Canon EF500mm f/4L IS USM.

Pentax Optio: It is rugged, sort of waterproof, small and takes reasonably good photos. I carry it in my pack and use it on more difficult ski, hike and weather situations. It isn't as good at zoom and focus, but I don't worry about hurting it. It is great for the river.

Olympus SP500 UZ: This was my in-between camera for a few years before it was stolen in Argentina. It's in the middle for size, price, focus, weight, zoom and focus capabilities. I would still be using it on hikes if I could. You will see some photos I took with this camera.
